Antelope Canyon And Horseshoe Bend Tour

Antelope Canyon is located in Page, AZ. It's one of the most picturesque locations on earth (and a favorite for the pro or amateur photographer). It's what is known as a "slot canyon" and is nearly invisible from the surface.

Historically, the canyon is where the Navajo hid from persecution of the federal government in the late 1870’s (within the canyon there are many hidden perches). The canyon is currently located on Navajo land, therefore only designated Navajo guides are able to serve as your entrance to the land.

There are two Antelope Canyons, Upper and Lower. Upper is much more popular and is what offers the light beam views, while lower Antelope is a fun hiking adventure. Your descent travels 100ft down into the cave via a system of stairs. It’s also a lot less visited and usually has openings. Make sure to reach out and request either tour (doing both on the same day isn’t possible).

After the tour of the Canyon, we visit the Glen Canyon Dam and the massive reservoir of Lake Powell. After that, we break for lunch (included in the price of tour). Once we’re finished it’s off to Horseshoe bend, the most beautiful view of the Colorado River! The drive along Hwy 89 offers all of the incredible views of the Painted Desert, the Vermillion Cliffs, and Oak Creek Canyon. On the drive back, we make a 30 min pit stop at real fossilized dinosaur foot prints!!! Located in the heart of the Navajo Reservation. Its truly a trip of a life time!

The tour is 11-12 hours long and is a full day. The drive is 380 miles round-trip from Sedona. The tour of Antelope Canyon is 1.5-2 hours long. A break for lunch for 1 hour. Horseshoe bend is a 1.5 mile round trip walk, and lasts roughly 1.5 hours. Stop of Dino foot prints lasts 30 min. The drive direct one way is 3 hours.

Contact us today to make reservations. Antelope Canyon is world famous and availability doesn’t last long. Reservations typically must be made days to months in advance.

We start our day in Sedona but can pick up along the way to the park, like Flagstaff, or Winslow, or Holbrook! (price is discounted for Winslow or Holbrook, as our office is based further in Sedona, if starting the tour closer to the park.)

We offer PICK UP for all tours, OR we pick up from Cultural Park.
